Definition:

Rented Units (Renter-occupied housing units)-- All occupied housing units that are not owner occupied, whether they are rented for cash rent or occupied without payment of cash rent, are classified as “renter occupied.” Housing units in ‘‘continuing care’’ or life care facilities are included in the ‘‘rented for cash rent’’ category.
