While OSHA funds 90% of our services, the Illinois Onsite Safety and Health Consultation Program is not a division of OSHA. Our consultants are state employees and have no authority to issue citations or fines to employers for violations found. We do not file reports to OSHA, except under extreme circumstances (i.e. refusal to address serious health or safety issues).

Our knowledgeable consultants are trained and authorized by OSHA to identify safety and health hazards in the workplace. These experienced consultants also help businesses develop ongoing, effective safety and health programs.
